Giving a little insight into why they were chosen, what the item can be used for and, if relevant, completed examples. Advent calendars have their roots in the 19th century, when German Protestants started taking creative steps to mark the days leading up to Christmas, like ticking off chalk marks on walls or doors, lighting candles and placing straws in a Nativity crib.

Our 24 Day Advent Calendar started in 2022 as a small idea, with an even smaller inventory. There was nothing that could have prepared us, for the desire diamond painters around the world had, to treat themselves to a little Christmas magic.

I’m happy to say that we learned from this, and in 2023 we had the aim to bring our 24 Day Advent Calendar to all who wanted. We placed our orders and prepared throughout the year what we thought would be an over achieving amount. Well, our over achieving amount was deemed to be exactly right, with the last one selling near the end of November.

This year, 2024, we feel that we have outdone ourselves again, bringing you exclusive products, value for money and Christmas magic all in one box. Our focus is on the gifts you receive each day, and we pride ourselves on ensuring the packaging, while pretty, isn’t where the money is spent. The little brown bags are fully recyclable and can be displayed if required by hanging on little pegs attached to a string line.
