Shipping to the EU, EEA and Northern Ireland

New GPSR Laws

On December 13th 2024, the EU will introduce the GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation).

The advice provided is complicated regarding these new regulations, but our understanding is that the new rules requires all businesses (including small, handmade and/or independent businesses) to draw up technical documentation per product they place on the market.

In addition, they also need to hire a representative within the EU who acts on their behalf regarding product safety. This can be a costly process and will take time to put into place.

The safety of our products is not in question, as we comply with all current regulations; however, until a workable solution is found that is within the new regulations AND affordable to our small business, we are afraid that we will need to make some changes to our delivery options for the foreseeable future.

Due to this, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily stop accepting online orders from the 27 countries of the EU, Northern Ireland, together with the three EEA countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) from 5th December 2024.

If you are one of our valued EU/EEA customers and you would like to place an order with us, please ensure they are placed before 5th December 2024. Any orders placed before this time will be packed and sent as usual. After this date there will no longer be a shipping option for you available on our website.

Please rest assured that we are working hard to be able to find a suitable and affordable option that will allow us to restart sending orders. We are so sorry to our amazing EU/EAA customers who are disappointed by this news. We thank you for your custom over the years and we hope to be able to welcome you back very soon.

Please note: Great Britain & non-EU/EAA orders will not be impacted and we will not change the delivery options currently available to you.
